The sludge is then automatically transported into the reaction chamber. Inside the sealed chamber, the sludge is heated to temperatures of around 450 degrees Celcius. Since the chamber is sealed and deprived of oxygen, instead of burning, the oil sludge begins to evaporate in stages.
